April to October: This is the dry season. The weather is great, and you’ll have clear skies. The only downside is that June, July, and August can be a bit crowded because it’s vacation season for many countries.
November to March: This is the rainy season. While Machu Picchu is still open, there’s a higher chance of rain, which can make hiking trails slippery. If you don’t mind a bit of rain, these months are less crowded, but it can be tricky to enjoy the views.
